Happy Hump Day!
👋🏽 from gorgeous Clapham Common on this autumnal day (where did summer go?)
How’s everyone coping with the holidays? I haven’t been showing up here as much, apologies. It feels like I am running on empty- I am a lover of schedule so summer feels chaotic. My fitness schedule has gone out of the window, I am struggling to fit work, and I alternate between trying to bring some holiday magic/ giving up and putting KPop Demon Hunters for the 10th time 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Countdown is on for back to school 😂 and I will start showing up more I promise!

LPS SIXTH CELEBRATES STRONG SECOND YEAR OF A LEVEL RESULTS – WITH TRIPLE THE TOP GRADES OF 2024

There was cause for celebration in London today as LPS Sixth announced its second set of A Level results – with students achieving an impressive 31% A*-A grades, 53% A*-B, and 73% A*-C. Notably, the proportion of A* and A grades tripled compared with last year, reflecting the school’s growing academic momentum.

This year’s results showcase the breadth and individuality of LPS Sixth’s ‘Learn Like a
Londoner’ approach, with students moving on to study a wide variety of subjects from Biochemistry and Physics, to Law, Politics, Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship and Television and Film and Psychology – mirroring London’s diverse, creative and entrepreneurial spirit.

Many students achieved outstanding results, underlining the school’s strong “value added” record and the impact of its bespoke, personalised teaching.

Postcards from Cornwall 🌊 ☀️ ❤️
Apologies for the radio silence but we took a social media break during our escape to Cornwall. The sea was cold, the sun played hide and seek but we slowed down for long walks with sand in our toes, some cold swims, board game evenings and fabulous food. Yes there was bickering and endless snack runs but we also made memories and hope to go back soon!

So, when a young Smed and Smoo fall in love and zoom off into space together, how will their families get them back?
