Atanga Nji has informed a cabinet minister that there is a possibility of arresting Issa Tchiroma Bakari—linked to his “Amba connections” and his known involvement in the 1982 attempted coup, which led to his earlier arrest and imprisonment.

Speaking to ELECAM today in a closed-door meeting, he added that Tchiroma might be seeking Ambazonian weapons to fight the Cameroonian military if the election favors President Paul Biya.
