Oh heya. World book day and that 📕

I still can’t believe this happened tbh. My English teacher told me I’d fail my exams when I was taking my GCSE’s + I still have to say “I before E unless after C” when I try and spell words like “perceived”

Gonna own it and say, community is your currency is one of my proudest achievements. It’s been a best seller in 5 categories, mentioned in Ted talks, referenced in leading podcasts and can be found in libraries and universities across the globe. Still baffles me when people say “I’ve read your book”. Mad.

But on a deeeeeper level, it’s a receipt for myself. Every time I say “can’t do that”. I think about this labour of love that sits proudly on my book shelf at home. The tears. Reading the manuscript and laughing and say “what is this happening”. Hours spent re-writing paragraphs.

All this to say, if you get an opportunity, wanna do something you don’t think you’re capable of: this walking typo is a sure case study that you can.
