We have other spaces to hire here at The Backstage Centre, besides our soundstage, that can be used to host a variety of events!

Our friends at have previously hosted their film screenings with us in our Dance Studio - which is a really great use of the space. We can dress this space to suit the needs of your event, and it has a great view out over our site and the estuary!

We have other spaces to hire besides our soundstage here at The Backstage Centre! One that’s commonly used for theatre and dance rehearsals is the Dance Studio 💃🏻

Our dance studio has a barre, mirrored wall and sprung floor for performance work, but can also be used as function space for presentations. There is an option to have our custom fit carpet to cover the dance floor if this is more suitable for your booking. There are also the French doors that open out onto a balcony space, looking out over High House Production Park!

Located next door to us here at The Backstage Centre are The Barns, a restored multi-use space - originally dating back to the 16th century!

Comprised of two spaces, the West and East Barns, identical in size and layout. They can be used as filming locations, production offices or rehearsal rooms. The Barns can be hired independently, or alongside our soundstage.
