Davido and Chioma met in 2013 at Babcock University, where they were both students. Davido was studying music, while Chioma was studying Economics.
Davido revealed during his wedding that he met Chioma through his childhood friend, Lati. Lati, who was also Davido's best man, introduced Chioma to him.
They started as friends, but their friendship blossomed into a romance in 2015.
After two years of dating, Davido officially introduced Chioma as his girlfriend in 2017. He showed his love and appreciation for her by writing a song, "Assurance," and featuring her in the music video. Around this time, Davido proposed to Chioma, but they postponed their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chioma became Davido's third baby mama when she gave birth to their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, on October 20, 2019. Sadly, they lost their beloved son in 2022. Despite their grief, they found strength in each other and their love continued to grow.
In 2021, the couple faced a challenging time in their relationship, which led to a brief split. During this period, Davido was spotted with another woman, Instagram model Yafai, on vacation in the Caribbean.
This fueled rumors of infidelity, leading to their temporary breakup. However, the couple reconciled and strengthened their relationship, putting the rumors behind them.
During their relationship, Chioma has been a supportive partner, often accompanying Davido to events and music videos. Davido has also been open about his love for Chioma, frequently expressing his appreciation for her on social media.
Months after they l0st their lovely s0n, the couple did their marriage introduction and court wedding.
Davido paid Chef Chi's bride price on Thursday, 5 January 2023. On October 2023, God blessed them with twins.
Recently, on June 25, 2024, the couple did their traditional wedding and it was attended by many celebrities and dignitaries.
Despite the ups and downs, their love has endured, and they continue to inspire fans with their commitment to each other.
