Moonage Pictures was founded by Will Gould, Matthew Read and Frith Tiplady in 2018 with the aim to create and produce original, unconventional and inventive television and film for both the UK and international markets. We work with the very best talent, both established and emerging, and have a passion for storytelling in whatever form it comes.

Do you recognise those red velvet seats?

We're on the telly! We were lucky to be one of the filming locations for the BBCs new adaption of The Famous Five which airs this Sunday 7th December at 5:35pm.

For a full week there were 70+ crew members buzzing around the building, setting up rigs, transforming spaces and providing the Curzon team with a lovely lunch. They gave the kiosk a mini makeover (which we got to keep) and added some 1950s additions to the auditorium to make it in-keeping. The biggest transformation was the corridor outside our balcony which was completely converted into a projection room, using projectors and props from our cinema archive and lots of TV art department magic. Can you spot the scenes we are in?

The episode airs this Sunday 7th December at 5:35pm and again over the Christmas break.
