This Friday 18 Sept, Sugar House Island, 4–9pm for the Island Summer Social — an afternoon and evening with our local community, and UD Music’s bringing the sound while East London Dance bring the movement. On the line-up: Lina Sounds, Shelbee Tee, Dia Day and The Multiverse live, plus DJ sets from Maria Hanlon and Mimi Rich.

Introducing… Dia Day 🍵 Dia Day 🌞

Croydon storyteller. Opera-trained. Neo-soul and rap in the same breath. She makes music for “tea drinkers and over-thinkers; Croc wearers and over-sharers”.

Her debut album Letters to L started as diary entries she didn’t know what else to do with, and turned into one of the most honest records we’ve heard in a while. “Green Tea” ft. Sh**un Shato won Original Track of the Year at the Youth Music Awards, and she’s carried that same heart onto stages at the O2, Wembley, the BRITs and the MTV EMAs with Flames Collective .
