SHOCKING! ACTOR AKIN OLAIYA ANNOUNCES END OF MARRIAGE JUST MONTHS AFTER WEDDING.
Sad news has emerged from the Nollywood community as actor Akin Olaiya reportedly announced the dissolution of his marriage to his wife, Nafisat Feenah Hammed, barely months after their wedding ceremony.
According to a statement attributed to the actor, the marriage, which was solemnized on June 29, 2025, allegedly ran into difficulties shortly after the wedding.
Akin Olaiya claimed that while they were expected to attend an event together in Lagos, his wife informed him that she was no longer interested in going. He further alleged that before he returned home, she had packed her belongings and left the matrimonial home without prior notice.
The actor stated that he made several efforts to contact her and involve family members in reconciliation attempts. However, according to him, she repeatedly maintained that she was no longer interested in continuing the marriage.
Based on these events, he publicly declared that the marriage had ended from his side.
The development has left many fans surprised, especially considering how recently the couple celebrated their union.

Marriage is one of the most beautiful institutions in life, but it is also one of the most demanding. Love may bring two people together, but understanding, patience, communication, forgiveness, and commitment are what keep a marriage standing.
No marriage is perfect. Every couple will face challenges, misunderstandings, disappointments, and difficult moments. The difference often lies in how both parties handle those moments.
A successful home is not built by one person alone. Both husband and wife must be willing to listen, respect each other, communicate honestly, support one another, and work together through challenges.
Sometimes what looks like a small misunderstanding today can become a major problem tomorrow if communication breaks down.
As outsiders, we may never know the full story behind any marriage. Therefore, it is important to avoid rushing to judgment and instead pray for wisdom, healing, and peace for everyone involved.
