Voluum: A Customer Nightmare and Disregard for European Rights – Avoid at All Costs!
If you're considering signing up for Voluum, please stop and read this carefully. My experience with this company has been nothing short of scandalous and a clear example of how not to treat customers.
I forgot to cancel a subscription I hadn't used for over a month. Zero activity, zero services utilized. I requested a refund **just minutes after seeing the charge on my credit card**, thinking that good faith and common sense would prevail. Instead, I hit a brick wall of rigid and inhumane interpretation of their "Terms and Conditions."
Despite asserting my right of withdrawal as a European citizen, which should allow me to withdraw from a service within 24 hours of purchase, Voluum categorically refused the refund. Their justification? I "consciously agreed to immediate access to the full functionality of the service," which, according to them, nullifies the right of withdrawal. This is a blatant way to circumvent fundamental consumer rights and demonstrates incorrect and untransparent conduct.
They even invited me to proceed with a chargeback, threatening to formally dispute it with all the "proof" that I accepted their terms. This attitude is not only unacceptable but also intimidating.
In summary: Voluum is only concerned with collecting payments, ignoring service non-use, consumer rights, and even immediate refund requests. Their customer support is inflexible and not solution-oriented. If you're looking for a service that respects its customers and the law, stay AWAY from Voluum.
There are many better alternatives on the market, such as **RedTrack, Binom, and ThriveTracker**, which are not only **more accessible and offer even more features**, but also **cost half the price**. Choose a service that values you as a customer, not one that traps you in abusive clauses.
