Our movie ARGENTINA, 1985 has been selected by the Venice Film Festival in this year’s Official International Competition.

ARGENTINA, 1985 will compete among other 21 films for the Golden Lion, including features by such acclaimed filmmakers as Darren Aronofsky, Alice Diop, Andrew Dominik, Todd Field,, Alejandro G. Inarritu, Romain Gavras, Luca Guadagnino, Martin McDonagh, Jafar Panahi, Laura Poitras, Frederick Wiseman and Florian Zeller.

Award-winner Santiago Mitre (Paulina, The Summit), directed the film, which he also co-wrote with his long-time collaborator Mariano Llinás (La Flor, Extraordinary Stories). The film features a star-studded cast led by Ricardo Darín (The Secret in Their Eyes, Wild Tales) as Julio Strassera and Peter Lanzani (The Clan, El Ángel) as Luis Moreno Ocampo.

Thanks to the whole team behind the movie and to our amazing production partners, La Unión de los Ríos, Kenya Films and Amazon Studios for this labour of love.

Good news here! Our next film with Paramount+ will be El salto de Papá, starring Rodrigo de la Serna, the amazing actor from Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) and The Motorcycle Diaries. The movie, based on Martin Sivak's memoir, will be directed by Daniela Goggi (Abzurdah, HBOmax' Maria Marta). We are making the film with our awesome partners, VIS and Rei Cine. El salto de papá is gripping political thriller and we are proud to be part of this terrific team. Thanks JC Acosta, Federico Cuervo and Guillermo Borensztein for your support and commitment to tell this extraordinary tale.
