Launched in 2007 HIREWORKS quickly became a major force in editing equipment rental by securing the contract to supply the latest technology and associated technical support to the 6th Harry Potter movie in September of that year. In 2008 we acquired the established film rental house, London Editing Machines (LEM Digital), and expanded rapidly to offer dry-hire cutting rooms at Pinewood and Soho. After working on the last two Harry Potter films, in 2012 we provided the hired editing systems to the latest in the series of James Bond movies, Skyfall, and 12 complete Avid systems with shared storage to the BBC for their coverage of the London Olympics.
