About The Sharan Project
Founded in 2008, The Sharan Project, is a UK based registered charity providing support and advice to vulnerable women, particularly of South Asian origin, who have been or are at risk of being disowned due to abuse or persecution. This could be partially or wholly as a result of honour-based abuse, forced marriage, domestic abuse, dowry violence and other forms of harmful practices.

The Sharan Project is here to listen without judgement and help you get back on your feet by providing long term support, advice, making referrals and offering information on the choices available to you in a safe and culturally sensitive environment.
