During the recent BNI Global Conference in Honolulu, Arne Salkin, BNI Director in Northern New Jersey- a region with over 700 members across 25 chapters - shared impressive perspectives about the organization's future. Arne is a former BNI GPT president.
"The fact that our new CEO, Mary Kennedy Thompson, is setting a goal to start 2027 with 1 million members worldwide is a fantastic, tremendous challenge," revealed Arne, highlighting not just the ambition of the goal, but its truly transformative potential.
The impact of this goal is substantial: currently, BNI global conferences already gather between 3,000 and 5,000 participants. With the projection of reaching 1 million members, future global events could bring together more than 30,000 professionals in a single location!
This evolution represents a complete transformation in the format of events, which will feature:
-Large convention center structures
-Multiple partner hotels with different price points
-Expanded networking opportunities at various levels
-Greater reach and diversity of global connections
This transformation marks not just a growth in numbers but a fundamental evolution in how professionals worldwide connect and do business.
