Biafran historians I do not know who this man is, but from the look of things I hope he is not one of those people born by those European sailors sailing through the bight of Biafra , but I want all your contributions on this topic, for me I totally disagree with this man , his narratives are naive and he has no substantial evidence in his narrative.
The claim that Western Cameroon (Ambazonia ) departed out of fear of subjugation by the Igbos was false. You should keep in mind that they were never included in Eastern Nigeria. They were a trust territory acquired from Germany following World War II. As Cameroon was nearing its independence, it attracted the group to unite with them to form a type of confederation similar to Quebec in Canada.
However, right after gaining independence, Cameroon began to regard them as second-class citizens, which is the reason they are striving for independence from Cameroon.
Again the ceding of Bakassi peninsula to Cameroon by Obasanjo government has nothing to with Igbos or the Cross River people hating the Igbos for the fear of subjugation , the Bakassi peninsula was ceded as part of the agreement to Cameroon for allowing their territory to be used to fight against the Biafrans during the Nigerian and Biafra civil war .
Men like this man with myopic views should not be allowed to speak to the public or give false narratives about the Igbos because foolish people also grow old and that’s the class to place him.
