💡 Through close observation over time, I appreciate how hard it is to be a 'good' and successful property developer in the UK. There are many who give it a go and won't prevail. Not anyone can 'do' property, especially not do it well! This is why I have no intention of becoming a hands-on property investor myself. So I respect the people in this profession for their unique skill set and for the crucial part they bring to the table.

At PropertyAngels.Life, if I can help bring the 3 core values together; the POWER OF:

Then I believe that we can start to tackle the rental supply crisis in a way that is ethical, that is hugely socially impactful, while giving all parties involved a much better experience along the way.

⭐ The Initiative is to RAISE £5 MILLION IN ANGEL FUNDS BY JULY 2025 ⭐

I want to be a property sector Angel Investor to help tackle the shortage in UK rental housing supply. This a real crisis if you think about how more people need to rent than ever before, with higher barriers to getting onto the property ladder and our aging population needing to rent for longer.

THE PROOF OF CONCEPT

If we can achieve this goal, we can begin to rebuild trust in the sector, we can then do a whole lot more in a collaborative way and we can have some hope of closing the rental supply gap.

In my work, I have surrounded myself with and have developed some excellent relationships with property investors, developers and thought-leaders who are paving the way for our future rental sector, people who I genuinely love working with.

If we can see more success in this sector, and build better trust with investors, this will also create better benchmarks for newer developers to follow.

😳 We have a staggering £1.5 TRILLION sitting in UK cash savings accounts. £1.1 TRILLION of this is earning savers LESS than 2%, whilst £250 BILLION is earning NOTHING at all!

This sparks an argument for such a large sum of money that is not being circulated back into the economy in some meaningful way, seems unhelpful. Perhaps a portion of this vast pool of money that is earned, accumulated and held by high-net-worth individuals, could be leveraged to help close the rental housing gap?

While mobilising these savings could provide an excellent and viable solution, the challenges and risks involved would be wrong to neglect.
