Remember you deserve TLC for yourself too

It’s the little things before the big things :) in this case I was getting ready for my first solo trip away. Was so important to get in the right zone and set the right pace 🌞

That day, I thrifted a new bag, got a little lunch, got little travel essentials and started prepping my clothes & ended it with some pole fitness.

I like my Sundays to be a good mix between chill and productive. I might tackle something that I’ve been holding off for a while, on this occasion it was a full clean of my car inside and out, which meant clearing out the inside of the car for the deep clean.

I’ve been having really bad insomnia lately so I’ve been feeling really groggy and tired when I get up, so I’ve just given myself some TLC, skincare and a matcha to start off softly.

This might seem like a small thing to some people but wowzer it’s something I gotta celebrate myself for.

I like my solitude, I always have, it’s important but I never quite allowed myself to be surrounded by the world in solitude. I thought I did but now I truly understand & It’s peaceful :)

We also started our period & recently everything is becoming super fast paced again and draining to be up and front. It’s so vital to take a step back and be with the flow and just take a moment to take in what is right at our grasp.

Sometimes healing looks less like a breakthrough and more like saying yes to a picnic invitation, meeting new people, and remembering that connection can feel good again. 🌞🌿
