HAVE YOU EVER MISSED A FLIGHT āļø BEFORE?
2 times, the first one was an international flight ABV - LHR ( Abuja to London ) , that day was and still one of the worst days of my life š¤¦āāļø, I felt āstupid and sadā . How can someone miss a flight for 1:20pm? Ask me what exactly I was doing from 6am to 12 noon š, well feel free to tell me isi adiro gi nma ( your head no correct). The previous day I went to Bannex plaza Abuja to fix my nails, install my wig and get few things, on my way to the plaza, I was having an interesting conversation with the Uber driver about the situation of Nigeria and I was excited and didnāt know when I told him Iāll be leaving the country to London the next day, he offered to drop me at the airport and take me to anywhere else I want for an extra pay, and I hurriedly agreed, because I was already feeling like Nnukwu Nwanyi (big woman) and I didnāt want stress because Iām leaving the country the next day, he drove me to everywhere I want that day and the next day at 7am I called him and told him I was dressing up, he said his car developed fault and he needed money to quickly fix it so he can come pick me to the airport, I sent him money and waited for him to come, At 9:30am I called him again and he asked me to relax that itās better to rest at home rather than waiting too long at the airport, I relaxed and was even watching a movie, till 11:30am, I was already getting calls and messages from my family asking if I was at the airport already, I refused to take any call because I didnāt want them to know I was still at home, I called the Uber man again and he said he was on his way coming to pick me, I relaxed š, it didnāt occur to me to find my way to the airport and forget the Uber driver, he came at 11:45 am and said he was hungry and needed money to eat, we drove to a nearby store and I gave him money to get snacks, on our way, I was feeling uncomfortable and he assured me we are on time, we stopped at a filling station where I checked if my luggage was not more than 25kg each, we got to the airport at 12:30pm and I told the driver I think Iām late and Iām feeling uneasy he kept on telling me not to worry that everything was fine, I had a delay when I got to the airport while my luggage was scanned, they discovered mmanų nri ( Palm oil) on my luggage, and didnāt want me to go in with it, and I was pleading and giving them reasons why I needed it, at 12:55pm I went to board and was told the boarding gate was closed, I knelt down to beg the lady to let me in and she rudely asked me to leave, I was on the floor crying and begging everyone at the airport to have mercy on meš¤£ but no one cared to listen, I went to the Qatar airways desk and begged them to put me on another flight that God will bless them and they asked me to book another flight, I cried my eyes out at the airport and started calling my family I refused to take their calls earlier to inform them I missed my flight. My husband who was already in London waiting for me was boiling in anger š” and told me not to bother coming againš, I had to call people to plead with him and ask him to send another money for flight ticketā¦
Donāt ever miss a flight āļø.. go to the airport at least 3hours before time
