It always blows my mind when we have what we consider a “perfect” dog, but yet they go for so long without getting adopted. Rocky is one of those dogs. He’s 7 years old and around 30 pounds. He’s good with dogs, cats, and kids. He’s content to snuggle in for a Netflix marathon, but also enjoys long walks. Today, he was having some issues - gagging, and vomiting. Dr. Means came out on a Sunday to take a look, and took him home to keep an eye on him.🥹 I will never be able to put into words the love that Dr. Means has for animals, and the lengths he’s willing to go to help them. The appreciation, gratitude, and thankfulness we continually have in our hearts for Dr. Means and his wife - words will never give justice to.
Rocky has been with us for 10 months and 1 day- which in our opinion is 10 months and 1 day too long. He’s incredibly loving, sweet, and a fantastic little companion. Please send prayers for Rocky to feel better, as well as to find his forever home. Please help us find Rocky’s forever home by liking, following, commenting, and sharing this post. Rocky has been so patient waiting for his new beginning. We know good things come to those who wait- help us prove this to Rocky too.

I adopted him this morning He's 15 and too old for many people to care. After years in the shelter, he finally found a home. As I lay in bed with him, he looks at me, a smile on his face, knowing he is safe for the rest of his days.
Can't help but feel the warmth of his gratitude. This sweet boy deserves all the love in the world, and I’m so grateful to be able to give it to him.

Rosa May update! She's a little girl we took in on Tuesday with the back injury of unknown origin and rear leg paralysis. She's still on strict bedrest, and her foster mom carried her outside yesterday evening to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine and Rosa seemed to love it! She is much more alert, receptive to affection from her foster family, and eating and drinking like a champ. Rosa is unable to walk at this time, but she's able to eliminate normally, and to move to a clean area after she does. We're cautiously optimistic that with continued rest and lots of TLC she will regain some function and quality of life! Rosa has a long way to go and could use all of the positive thoughts and good karma our supporters can send to her, and we're so glad she's with us and we're able to help.
