Portraits in Sound 'Your life in your words' Portraits in Sound create an audio picture of a life, by recording their stories and reflections

We will come to your home to interview you about your life: your background, childhood, career, relationships, adventures and beliefs. Our preferred style is to cut out the interviewer's voice, so the edited product will be 'just you' possibly illustrated with your favourite music and sound effects.

I can't think of a better advert for my business than myself. As I can't interview myself, I wrote my own autobiography. It took two years of focused writing, attention and revision. My interviews often take two hours! You get to choose!

I’m working on an interview with the potter Pat Rae who’s generously donating her estate with studio to Bell House Charity for the next generation of potters when she dies. At over ninety she’s still working and trying new techniques- she’s such an inspiration and a delight!

Over the years most of the photographs were taken by me, and I am grateful to the photographers and friends whose work has also been included.
