এনএসআই'র সাবেক ডিজি ব্রিগে জেনারেল আব্দুর রহিম কারাগারেই ইন্তেকাল করলেন!

এনএসআই এর সাবেক মহাপরিচালক ব্রি জেনারেল (অব) আব্দুর রহিম কারাগারে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন। ইন্না লিল্লাহে ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহে রাজেউন। একজন গোয়েন্দা প্রধান কখনোই নিজের এজেন্ডা বাস্তবায়ন করেন না। তিনি সরকারের ইচ্ছার প্রতিফলন ঘটান; যার সাথে জাতীয় স্বার্থ জড়িয়ে থাকে। সেক্ষেত্রে অন্য কোন রাষ্ট্রের কাছে জাতীয় স্পর্শকাতর তথ্য পাচার করা ছাড়া কোন গোয়েন্দা কর্মকর্তাকে গ্রেপ্তার ও মৃত্যুদণ্ডের মতো শাস্তি প্রদান হচ্ছে ইচ্ছেকৃত অপরাধ। ভারতীয় নীল নকশায় জাতীয় স্বার্থের বিপরীতে গিয়ে জেনারেল রহিমকে গ্রেফতার করে বর্তমান সরকার যে অমার্জনীয় অপরাধ করেছিল, সে বিষয়ে সশস্ত্র বাহিনী সর্বদাই নীরব থেকেছে বিডিআর ম্যাসাকারের মতোই। আমি জেনারেল আব্দুর রহিমের রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি এবং তার শোক সন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি সমবেদনা জানাচ্ছি।
উল্লেখ্য, ২১ আগস্টের গ্রেনেড হামলা মামলায় তাকে জড়ানো হয়েছিল; অথচ একমাত্র জেনারেল রহিমই ঐ গ্রেনেড হামলা মামলার গোপন তদন্ত করিয়েছিলেন; যে কারণে এনএসআই ডিজি হিসেবে তার চাকুরী আর নবায়ন করেনি তখনকার সরকার। আমি বহুবার তাকে দেশত্যাগের জন্য ফোনে অনুরোধ করেছিলাম। তিনি প্রতিবারই বলেছিলেন তিনি দেশেই থাকতে চান। সেই থাকাই তার গন্তব্য নির্ধারিত হলো। ভারতীয় নীল নকশায় জেনারেল নাসিম এর ক্যু এর বিরুদ্ধে গিয়ে জেনারেল নাসিমকে বন্দী করে রাখার প্রতিফল পেলেন কারাগারে মৃত্যু বরণ করার মধ্যে দিয়ে। আল্লাহ তাকে বেহেশত নসীব করুন।

Former Director General of National Security Intelligence-NSI Bangladesh Brig. General Abdur Rahim (Retd) has died in jail. إينا لله وإنا عليه راجعون (We belong to God, and to Him, we will return). An intelligence chief never implements his plan. He reflects the will of the government; with which the national interest is involved. In that case, it is an intentional crime to punish an intelligence officer, such as arresting and executing him, without smuggling sensitive national information to another state. Like the BDR massacre, the armed forces have always remained silent on the unforgivable crime committed by the present government by arresting General Rahim against the national interest in the Indian blueprint. I seek the forgiveness of the soul of General Abdur Rahim and extend my condolences to his bereaved family.
He was implicated in the August 21 gr***de attack case, But only General Rahim secretly investigated the gr***de attack case; That is why the then government did not renew his job as NSI DG. I repeatedly asked him on the phone to leave the country. He always said he wanted to stay in the country. That was his destination. He went against General Nasim's military coup and detained him. General Rahim had to die in jail today for that so-called crime. May Allah grant him Jannah (heaven).
