IDEAS 💡 We accept a wide range of interpretations on the theme, “Perception.” Some examples: Can we trust our senses? How do we perceive time? Even if AI can process visual input, does it actually understand what it perceives?

We're excited to announce that Bentham Digest is now accepting submissions for ISSUE 7 - FREEDOM.
Any way the theme captures you is welcome. A few ideas to get you going are: free will, free speech, liberty, justice.

We’re now accepting submissions for our 6th issue — NON WESTERN PHILOSOPHY

We’d love to receive submissions from as many diverse perspectives as possible. Including, but not limited to; Eastern philosophy, African Philosophy, Latin American Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy, Jewish Philosophy, etc.

If there are any possible ideas you want to explore, or if you have no idea at all, pop into the philosophy common room (19 Gordon Sq) on any Thursday from 4 to 6pm till the end of term (excluding reading week), and you can have a chat with the editors Leo and Ariana.

IDENTITY launch this Thursday!

UCL Philosophy Society is thrilled to welcome you to our first event of the term, the launch of this year’s Bentham Digest edition, “Identity”. The event will take place this Thursday January 20th at the Duke of York pub. Our three distinguished speakers are Keigo shimada, Matteo Celli and Maria Pavlou. Even more, if you attend, you will be to pick up a free copy and vote for the next theme of the magazine.
