📐 GeoGebra & Desmos: Exploring Maths Beyond the Textbook! ✨
Recently, I had the opportunity to teach my UK Grade 8 student how to use GeoGebra for a mathematical assignment, exploring quadrilaterals, geometric shapes and constructions. It was a new concept for me as well, which made the experience even more interesting!
With my Australian students, I introduced Desmos to explore graph plotting, equations and their graphical representations. 📊
I really enjoy introducing students to digital tools that allow them to visualise, experiment and understand mathematical concepts rather than simply memorising them.
Teaching students from different curricula keeps every lesson a new learning experience for me too! 🌍💻

📐✨ Today’s NAPLAN Grade 9 practice felt really productive!
