Another Footstep Family catch up! has worked with us since he was 12 and as a student was the camera assistant on Flirt English 2. Lara Lemon was in the cast of Flirt English 2 filmed in Brighton in 2011. They caught up when Oliver (now a sought after DOP) was asked by ZDF to film a report about "Witness for the Prosecution" - starring Lara! If you find yourself in London it's a great play - do go see it!

Happy International Translation day! 🗣️🎉

In 2017, the UN declared the 30th September as a day to celebrate professional translators, interpreters and terminologists, recognising the value and skill in their roles as they quietly connect nations together to foster a brighter future. This year, the International Federation of Translation's theme is Celebrating Translation, Peace and Trust.

At Footstep our passion for languages and intercultural communication has driven much of our audio and video production over 3 decades. That may not come as a surprise for those who know our founder and the fact she has various degrees of 7 languages under her belt!

Languages are a wonderful gateway for knowledge, career, community and culture, and it's given us opportunities to meet and work with a range of wonderful people from across the world and in a flurry of different languages. Whilst an app may have its place, there is nothing like a human translator or interpreter to really support understanding. And even better when that person is you…. here’s to learning languages to promote peace and trust. The more the better!
