I’m delighted to announce that ‘the Brightonian’ a Third Lens Films production has been selected for this year’s CineCity Festival in Brighton!

The film is based on remastered interviews from 2010 and 2012 with Robert Gregory, a remarkable man who was my neighbour for a number of years when I lived in Brighton.

It makes use of extensive archival material including 4K scans of 8mm film, restored photographs as well as newly shot material.

It’s been a labour of love since lockdown and it’s exciting to be given an opportunity to share with a wider audience.

The film will be shown as part of CineCity’s Open (Docs) strand at Fabrica, Duke Street, Brighton on 13th Nov at 6.30pm. It’ll be shown alongside four other great looking short films.

A film we shot and helped edit for the New Scientist Aperture series is now up!

Filmed at the Royal Geographical Society in London where an exhibition is now on showcasing some of the amazing photographs and film taken by Frank Hurley on Shackleton's doomed voyage on the Endurance.

We were privileged to be one of only about one hundred people to have seen Hurley's orignal photo plates since they were taken.

More than a hundred years after Ernest Shackleton’s famous Imperial Trans-Antarctic expedition, a new exhibition showcases some of the most iconic and rare i...
