Ben Trigg Music is now BeatenTrack Studio – the home of all my production activity. I’m gearing up to produce another live album for Ichthus Christian Fellowship, captured live at Revive 2025, while also revamping the premises a bit and setting up a real acoustic piano for recording! Lots more to watch in this space too… For music notation, remote studio audio production and instrumental sessions, this is the place to come!

Took this baby on the train/tube for the first time to play with for a lovely show last Friday. Let's just say, it's doable... Just about 😅 But very grateful to have the option – so much better than driving through London!

^ My actual happy place. Somehow it's my main strument and I hardly ever get to play. I seem to inhabit a life of a constant need to let go...but then I follow a teacher who said the only way to find your life is to lose it. And I have found that to be true. If you cling to things too tight they can slip through your fingers. I'm super grateful for every opportunity I *do* get to play, and all the other ways I get to pour myself out creatively...

This is an act of faith. I don’t have a record deal or ‘distribution’. I don’t particularly want to become ‘known’. I even sort of despise the social media game (irony of ironies posting this on Instagram). I just have a burning in my soul that I have to write songs and get them out there. I want to sing my faith because I’m trying to say something that is beyond words. So here we go once more – into the fire, into the unknown, by faith.

What a joy to pick up the baton once more for Ichthus' Carols by Candlelight on Sun 1st December, to welcome in the Advent season. In another life I'm an internationally-renowned maestro 🎶🧐 in reality this is the one time in the year I get the wave a stick around while others make music... Hoping I get to do a bit more at some point in the bright, bright future... 🤞🏻

I attribute most of my musical formation to and the years I spent in their training bands and receiving 1-1 tuition in piano and percussion. So glad I’m back to give something back!
