So, having started my career looking at glass-plate black and white negs – yes, I really am that old – I find myself experimenting with VR photography amongst other technologies (drones, 3D, synchronized multi-camera, etc.), not to mention holography.

The questions surrounding these technologies are numerous and entail topics such as privacy. Yet, giving that we are all photographed and recorded from the moment we leave our homes – sometimes even before that; need we worry.

Anyway I’ll leave that one for later. I’m more interested in the usefulness and practicalities of the technology surrounding recording and sharing 360 photography for the moment.
