Congratulations to for a stupendous sell-out on Saturday. Streatham moved to Sloane Sq for a glorious evening of Haydn’s Creation with outstanding soloists & the Brandenburg Sinfonia. Surely one of the best amateur choirs in london (biased, moi?)! Put 4th July in your diary for their Summer concert and grab your tickets when they go on sale 23 May.

What an incredible night! The superb treated us to a wonderful array of music from grime to Mendelssohn via outstanding jazz, soul, & reggae - and at Streatham’s own Art Deco gem, the Streatham Hill Theatre - for a wonderful community celebration in Streatham Hill- probably over 700 people there. Thanks to for the publicity in their Christmas Guide & socials, singers for the scratch choir came from local groups eg & and to for sharing the vision for this beautiful building to revive for the community to enjoy & celebrate.

What a fabulous opportunity to see inside Streatham’s hidden magnificent gem thanks to & ! The Streatham Hill Theatre is a Grade 2 listed art deco gem - a sleeping beauty waiting to come to life with live performances. has promised us they will invite the public in for professional theatre, comedy, concerts, and community use of public access to this vital community asset. Let’s hope it remains a theatre to protect its future role in plans for Streatham’s regeneration.
