Reposted@batterseazoo 🔔❣️Your Zoo Needs You❣️🔔 The site of Battersea Park Children’s Zoo has been a pillar of the local community for nearly 70 years and now, in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, we are looking to our members, visitors and friends for support.

Our small, family friendly zoo is nestled in the heart of Battersea Park on London’s south bank. We are funded entirely by our visitors and as a result of our closure we can no longer rely on those funds to care for the 47 species that live at the zoo and cover our expensive daily running costs.

We understand that as a nation we are all struggling to adjust to the current situation we are living through, but if there is any way you could help us to reopen in the near future and continue with our conservation and education projects, it would be greatly appreciated as all of the fantastic work our team carries out is under threat.

We are determined to always provide a place where children of all ages and abilities can play, learn and discover.
