The Tall Place South East London recording studio offering a warm natural acoustic in a bright open-plan space. And a decent cup of tea.

The Tall Place is a beautiful studio set up by the Kick Horns, whose credits include Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Blur, The Who, Dr John and Stereo MCs. They recorded brass here for Little Mix’s number one single Wings and the Imagined Village album Bending the Dark, as well as for Status Quo, Oumou Sangare and Mark Nevin. The warm natural acoustic is perfect for strings, woodwind, p

ercussion and vocals – pretty much anything that won’t fit comfortably in a small project studio. Gear includes Neumann U87 microphones, API 3124 preamps and Metric Halo 2882 interface. Tim and Simon’s extensive studio experience enable them to provide a relaxed, old school recording environment.
