Apart from knowing to be a thoroughly excellent human being, we also happen to know she throws a great party. One of those parties where the volume is perfect, the atmosphere is energising, conversation flows - there is humour, diversity, inclusion and positivity. She thinks about it and makes it happen.
Room VII at the Summer Exhibition is her party and all visitors are welcome! The colour hits you as you enter the room and, as your eyes adjust, you see beautiful placement and interesting work on every surface.
Room IX is a collaboration between Vanessa and RA elect and it is a triumph. Important themes and statements are elegantly displayed allowing their messages to land perfectly.
We are heading back soon to take more time in the other beautifully curated rooms, co-ordinated by and we can’t wait.
We know, have exhibited, made prints for, admired the work of, and love, lots of people in both Room VII and Room IX - congratulations to them all:
