Today, I celebrate a great big brother, an amazing brother-in-law, a wonderful husband, a loving father, and above all, a truly selfless man. A man whose kindness, generosity, and love for family can never go unnoticed.
I remember when we were planning our trip to New York, I told my husband that we would stay in a hotel throughout because I genuinely didn’t want to inconvenience anyone. But my husband refused and said, “We’ll spend 5 days in NY and the remaining days in Chief’s house in NJ. Trust me, they love family and it won’t be an inconvenience at all.”
Honestly, from the very first day we arrived, I instantly felt at home 🥹. The way Chief welcomed me was so warm and genuine. He had even bought a bottle of wine specially for me and said, “I got this specially for you.” That simple gesture touched me deeply. They didn’t just host us .they embraced us ❤️.
I still remember when we visited in New Jersey and he took me shopping. He literally said, “Pick anything you want.” 😩 Meanwhile, I was carefully looking for something under £100, just trying to be considerate 😂. one of the most expensive shoes I own today worth over £1k came from him and aunty . Yes, I said it! Even when I kept saying, “Chief, don’t worry, I’m okay,” he refused o 😂.
And it’s not just me, the way he supports and blesses people around him is truly remarkable. You honestly cannot be around him and not feel inspired to do better and succeed. He is truly one of the strong pillars of the UMEGEs family.
May God continue to bless, protect, and uplift you and your family sir. As you continue to open doors for others, may God continually open even greater doors for you. We love and appreciate you always ❤️
