Brandon is a self published author and freelance content creator, and has been actively writing since 2017. During University, he had come to realise that he could not conceal his true self any longer, and embarked on the journey of coming out. As uni was beginning to wind down, in second and third year, he documented his journey in an autobiographical style that would eventually become his first
published novel, Through my Rose Tinted Glasses, on the 20th June 2019. It was received extremely well, with people really loving the personal, conversational style of writing chosen for the novel. November of 2019, he then released the second half of his story, from second and third year. This book was called Typhoon, and took the focus away from the coming out phase, to mental health issues. He often described it as a ‘tough book to write, as I had to channel the emotions I felt back in those dark times in order to write them in an authentic way’. The book was praised for raising light on dark matters. He then confirmed in January 2020, that work was underway on his third novel, and revealed its name to be ‘The Enigma’. It would the first fully fiction novel he would have written, and revealed that he had been working on it ever since he finished editing Typhoon. On the 20th August, 2020, The Enigma was released with much praise. Many had called the story ‘Amazing!’ and that ‘they really connected with the four main characters’. The Enigma is Out Now as a Paperback, and on Kindle and Apple Books.
