The story of Cab Chat
Cab Chat Radio Show was started in 2014 by @SuperCabby (Jamie) and @macTheCab (Mark). The show quickly grew into the Worlds most listened to Taxi related radio show and podcast attracting over 2500 downloads per week. Cab Chat was originally intended to be a light-hearted look at the Taxi Trade and a bit of a laugh but morphed into something a lot more serious. Cab Chat grew with many more presenters joining the crew and creating a zoo format for the show. With mark moving abroad the show lost its attraction for Jamie and he became slightly tired of the more serious format that the show had now taken on.
At the end of September 2017, Cab Chat was no longer being recorded which led to the sale of London Taxi Radio to Sean Day.
After a break of 4 months, Jamie and Mark decided to revise Cab Chat and start recording the show again in February 2018, when Mark once again left the UK Rob Cardwell @Iamcabman stepped in and took over from Mark as co-presenter of Cab Chat. Cab Chat Radio Show now has its own website and page and is once again growing with it’s revised format to what it was originally intended as.
Cab Chat is a light-hearted show tackling the issues of the London and UK Taxi Trade and reviewing what is happening in the UK Capital City, London.
