Our Story begins from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain in Karbala

WHO WE ARE Karbala TV is the official television of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). With the great support of the Shia Endowment Bureau and continued guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority, headed by His Eminence, Ayatullah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, the channel was founded in 2008 in the city of Karbala, Iraq. Today, we are a multi-platform media organization that serves people worldwide through television, mobile devices, the web, and more. We are developing new streams of video journalists across the world to tell true stories of individuals and communities. With high standards and professionalism, we are responsible for growing our network and accomplishing our mission of producing captivating programs, news, and information that educate, enlighten, and empower people. OUR MISSION The mission of Karbala TV, with its global offices, is to produce and deliver captivating programs, news, and information that educate, enlighten, and empower people to shape the world we live in today.
