As part of our PR support for Disability Snowsport UK, one of our main goals was to secure a feature story for the charity on Ski Sunday - helping to showcase and humanise their amazing work...

After months of working behind the scenes, we're delighted to say that this weekend, you can tune in to BBC 2 at 4:30pm to hear the story of DSUK member Ellie Henry.

Ellie, 24, started to learn how to sit ski with the charity less than 12 months ago at Chill Factore in Manchester - and just last month joined the organisation on one of their group holidays for her first ever ski trip to the mountains.

Speaking with presenter Jenny Jones, Ellie talks about the positive impact adaptive skiing has had on her life, after her dream of becoming an gymnast was put on hold following a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, leading her to become an ambulatory wheelchair user.

Jenny joins Ellie and her Dad, Paul, for a chat in Manchester before meeting up again on the slopes of Pal Arinsal in Andorra.
