Exciting News from Dragon Smoke Construction!

We’re thrilled to announce that Dragon Smoke Construction had the incredible opportunity to work on the upcoming BBC series Mr. Loverman, set to air this Autumn.

Our team took great pride in bringing the series' unique vision to life, and we can't wait for you all to see the final product!

Even more exciting, Mr. Loverman will have an exclusive screening of Episodes 1 and 2, followed by a Q&A with Lennie James, Ariyon Bakare, Bernardine Evaristo, and Irma Inniss at the BFI Southbank Centre on August 31st at 6:30pm.

We are over the moon to announce the completion of another of our projects during our crazy busy week! – a vibrant, fun-filled play place for children right in the heart of Central London! 🌟

Creating a safe and imaginative space where kids can explore, play, and learn has been a delight, and seeing it come to life has filled us with immense joy.

Bringing our clients vision to life truly embodies our commitment to building not just structures, but vibrant communities.

Another huge thank you to our dedicated team and everyone involved in making this project a reality.

WOW, what a week it's been for Dragon Smoke Construction!

Turning Concepts into Reality in Just 2 Weeks! 🚧

At Dragon Smoke Construction, we thrive on challenges!

Our latest project has pushed us to new heights, and we're beyond excited to share our journey with you!

We've got just TWO WEEKS, to transform a visionary design from concept to completion. From the first sketch to the last nail, our team is working around the clock to bring this ambitious project to life.

But that's exactly what we're known for, short turn around, large projects, exceptional finishes.

Our first scenic painting course went down a storm! Everyone enjoyed themselves and said they couldn’t wait to come back to learn more!

Our next course will be running on 2nd April, this time focussing on marble. Why not come and learn a new skill?

An evening alongside Natalie Perkins, learning a new painting skill.

These 3 hrs will focus on an introduction, Concrete effect and Rust.

Little knowledge in painting will be handy as teaching you how to paint is a big ask.

We'll provide all equipment and you will also walk away with a sample.

Concrete Effect:
This part of the session will likely focus on creating a concrete-like texture or appearance on the canvas.
Participants may learn techniques such as layering, stippling, or using specific tools to achieve the desired effect.
Natalie Perkins may demonstrate the process step-by-step, providing guidance and tips along the way.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice and create their own concrete effect under Natalie's supervision.

Rust
In this segment, participants will learn how to create a rust effect in their paintings. nNatalie might demonstrate techniques for layering colors, adding texture, and creating the characteristic look of rust.
Participants will follow along, experimenting with different methods to achieve their desired rusty effect.
Natalie will provide feedback and assistance as participants work on their paintings.

What a busy couple of months! It's great to see things starting to get moving again!

We have been working on a variety of projects in the workshop.

One being the Charlotte Tilbury Christmas Advert with Elton John.
It was so good to get the set build for this project and to see our doorbell come to life!

Not only that, the advert is in conjunction with THE ROCKET FUND, an initiative powered by the Elton John AIDS Foundation to drive forward its mission to break the stigma around HIV and to end AIDS for all.
