Another wave of team members announced! Each person today is connected to a key element that will make the project such a powerful, standout piece of work: Sustainability, Cinematography and Music.

Gabrielle Oliver is a freelance Sustainability Advisor & Producer with 20+ years experience in film & TV. She began by working on entertainment and factual programmes for BBC, Channel 4 & SKY, then went on to produce over 30 films for corporate & charity clients. She has worked with Phil on many projects, including as sole producer for THE STUPID BOY. In the last year she has worked as a Sustainability Coordinator on ANDOR 2, THE ACOLYTE (Disney+) & A PERFECT COUPLE (Netflix).

Mario Genovese trained at the Roberto Rossellini film school in Rome, and over the 20 years since has become a master of light, lenses and cameras at all levels of production. He and Phil have collaborated on countless projects, including all 3 of Phil's award-winning short films, Box Office Smash (2018) and About (2020) and The Stupid Boy (2022). Many of the accolades for each project were for Best Cinematography, including festivals in Los Angeles, New York (winning a Grand Jury Prize) and in his home country of Italy.

Tom Bell is a freelance composer and sound designer. Tom worked with Phil on JUGGLER (2016), BOX OFFICE SMASH (2018), which won Best Original Score at the LA Pinnacle Film Awards, and THE STUPID BOY (2022) which was awarded Best Soundtrack at Mediterraneo Film Festival, Italy. Tom has released 2 EPs; MESMER (2021) and GOOD GETS BETTER (2023). When The Stupid Boy score was played on BBC Radio 6Music recently, DJ Mary-Anne Hobbes described it as a "beautiful piece of music".

Verity Wislocki is a film and documentary producer who operates at the top level of the industry, working on films by Oscar®️, BAFTA and Cannes winning directors, including Tim Burton, Alfonso Cuarón, Terry Gilliam, Anthony Minghella, Molly Manning-Walker and Yorgos Lanthimos. Her producing credits include ANOTHER NEWS STORY, X TRILLION, ON OUR DOORSTEP, STORMSKATER and NICE TO MEET YOU ALL, all of which were selected to premiere at major film festivals, and won multiple awards. Verity was longlisted as Breakthrough Producer at the British Independent Film Awards.

Ashley Cole is an LA-based actress, writer, and producer. Alongside producing Fire Lily, she will also be playing the role of Carlyn. Her short film, TIME, which she wrote, produced, and starred in, was accepted into multiple festivals including the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts. THE WAKE, a short film written by Oscar-winning writer John Patrick Shanley, is her most recent producing project and was announced as the winner of Best Short at the SoHo International Film Festival 2024.

Theresa Godly is a seasoned British actress as well as Screenwriter & Producer. She has appeared in BRIDGERTON (Netflix), AVENUE 5 (HBO) and MOTHERLAND (Netflix). Her short film THE STRANGER I LOVE has recently entered the 2024 film festival circuit & will premiere at the San Jose International Short Film Festival this week - October 2024. Theresa will also play the role of Officer Fernandes in FIRE LILY.

We may have been quiet on here recently, but just beneath the surface, something has been germinating. Something has been growing. Something powerful. Something vibrant. Something that is in stark contrast to the devastation and destruction that surrounds it…

We are very proud to reveal our poster for our next film FIRE LILY and will very soon be sharing our website / crowdfunding page.

This is more than a short film. It is a cinematic event. And we would love you to be part of it; a collaborative work of art across multiple continents, cultures and disciplines that will tell its story through breathtaking drama, poetry, dance, music and cinematography.

…And the story behind the lens will be just as powerful and inspiring as the one told in front of it.
