My life has not gone remotely according to plan.

I’ve been married, divorced, a carer, heartbroken, started new careers in my 30s, became a comedian, somehow became a DJ, fell in love with a woman, started making music and discovered that apparently I can rap.

I’ve shared bits and pieces of my life on here over the years, but there are so many stories I’ve never really told and quite a lot that simply doesn’t fit into a 30-second Reel or an Instagram caption.

The brilliant bits, the really fu***ng difficult bits, and the completely ridiculous bits in between.

So I think it might finally be time for me to start my Substack.

There’ll be behind-the-scenes from music, DJing and comedy, thoughts on getting older and being seen, relationships, reinvention, the ridiculous situations I find myself in and probably quite a lot that I’ll regret admitting publicly afterwards.

Instagram gets the highlights.

This gets the plot.

If that’s something you’d actually like to read, comment SUBSTACK below and I’ll send you the link when it’s live.

And in the meantime, here are 13 things life has taught me so far…

Last one may be the most important.
