ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY! ✨📚

Still smiling when I think about the Black British Book Festival! ❤️

Standing at my own stall at the Barbican, watching people stop by, browse my books, ask questions and show interest in my work was such a special feeling.

Just a reminder that a dream really can become reality. 🙏🏾

From publishing my first book in 2024, to now helping other people bring their stories, messages and expertise to life through publishing... God has been so faithful. ❤️

And this was just ONE of the beautiful moments from the day! ✨

A huge thank you to Brown and the team for creating such an amazing platform for authors and publishers. ❤️

Another highlight was meeting an editor from Pan Macmillan who loved the cover of my upcoming romance novel, Courts of the Heart, and encouraged me to submit the manuscript to literary agents. 🙌🏾📖

And thank you to my girl Mina Cookey for coming to support me. You are a real gem! ❤️

Imagine working with someone online for months, helping to bring their book into the world… and then finally meeting them face-to-face. ❤️📚

That was one of the most special moments of my day at the Black British Book Festival.

I finally met one of my wonderful authors, Roxanne Atrey-Henry, in person!

Roxanne is a social worker and health coach, and her book, Keep the Culture, Change the Habits, didn't just become another book we published — it actually challenged me to change some of my own habits.

It encouraged me to move more and made me think more intentionally about the relationship between our culture, the food we eat, how much we move, and the impact our everyday choices can have on our health.

And that's why I believe her message is so important.

We don't have to lose our culture to develop healthier habits.

We can celebrate the food, traditions and communities we love while also asking: What can we do differently to protect our health?

After months of Zoom calls and online meetings, finally getting to hug Roxanne and celebrate her achievement in person was such a special moment.

This is what publishing is about for me. It is more than producing books. It is about people, purpose, impact and messages that can change lives.

Roxanne, I am so proud of you. ❤️

And once again, thank you to Selina Brown and the Black British Book Festival team for creating such an incredible space for authors, publishers and our stories to be seen and celebrated.

✨ A DREAM BECAME REALITY! ✨

Yesterday at the Black British Book Festival was incredible!

I published my first book in 2024, and that same year I dreamed of one day having my own stall at the festival.

Yesterday, I stood at the Barbican living that dream. 🙏🏾

Thank you, Brown, and the Festival team for creating such an amazing platform for authors and publishers.

One of my favourite moments? Two young girls loved my books so much they insisted their dad buy them! 😂📚 Watching children get excited about books I had written was priceless.

Another huge highlight was meeting an editor from Pan Macmillan, who gave me fantastic feedback on my upcoming romance novel, Courts of the Heart. She loved the cover and encouraged me to submit the manuscript to literary agents. 🙌🏾

I barely sat down all day! Watching people buy my books, and even seeing one of the authors I've published sell a book when she wasn't there, reminded me why I do what I do.

From writing my first book… to helping other people become published authors… to exhibiting at the Black British Book Festival.

God has been faithful. ❤️

And now my question is:
