ইউকে ড্রাইভিং টেস্টে আসা 'Tell Me' প্রশ্ন ও উত্তর! 🚗
ইংল্যান্ডে প্রাকটিকাল ড্রাইভিং টেস্ট শুরু করার সময়, পরীক্ষক আপনাকে ১-২টি প্রশ্ন করবেন যা “Tell Me” ক্যাটাগরির মধ্যে পড়ে। এই প্রশ্নগুলোতে আপনাকে গাড়ি সম্পর্কে কিছু ব্যাখ্যা দিতে হতে পারে, যেমন: ব্রেক কাজ করছে কি না সেটা কিভাবে বুঝবেন বা হেডলাইট কীভাবে অন করবেন।[ Tell Me - এই ক্ষেত্রে শুধু পরীক্ষক কে বললেই হবে, কিভাবে করবেন দেখাতে হয় না। ]
এরপর, টেস্ট চলাকালীন (চালনা অবস্থায়) আপনাকে কোনো একটি কাজ করে দেখাতে বলা হবে—যেমন: কীভাবে পেছনের গ্লাস পরিষ্কার করবেন, কিংবা কিভাবে হর্ণ বাজাবেন। এই অংশটি “Show Me” ক্যাটাগরিতে পড়ে।
অনেকেই অনুরোধ করেছেন যেন বাংলা ও ইংরেজি উভয় ভাষায় ‘Tell Me’ ও ‘Show Me’ প্রশ্নগুলোর একটি তালিকা তৈরি করে দিই, যাতে তাদের বুঝতে সুবিধা হয়।
আজকের পর্বে ‘Tell Me’ সম্পর্কিত সব প্রশ্ন ও উত্তর ইংরেজি ও বাংলাতে দেওয়া হলো।
⚫️Tell Me Questions (টেস্ট শুরুর আগে জিজ্ঞেস করা হয়)
✅ Q (English): Tell me how you’d check that the brakes are working before starting a journey.
Q (বাংলা): যাত্রা শুরু করার আগে কীভাবে আপনি যাচাই করবেন যে ব্রেক কাজ করছে?
Answer (English): The brakes should be tested as you set off. They should not feel spongy or slack. The vehicle should not pull to one side.
উত্তর (বাংলা): গাড়ি চালানো শুরু করার সময় ব্রেক চেপে দেখতে হবে। ব্রেক যদি স্পঞ্জের মতো বা ঢিলে মনে হয়, বা গাড়ি একদিকে টানে, তাহলে তা ঠিকমতো কাজ করছে না।
✅ Q: Tell me where you’d find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked.
Q (বাংলা): গাড়ির টায়ারের উপযুক্ত প্রেসার কোথায় লেখা থাকে এবং কীভাবে তা পরীক্ষা করবেন?
Answer: You can find it in the manufacturer’s guide or on the driver’s door. Or use a reliable pressure gauge and check when tyres are cold.
উত্তর: এই তথ্য গাড়ির ম্যানুয়াল বা ড্রাইভারের দরজায় স্টিকারে লেখা থাকে। অথবা নির্ভরযোগ্য টায়ার প্রেশার গেজ দিয়ে ঠান্ডা অবস্থায় প্রেসার চেক করতে হয়।
✅ Q: Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted.
Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে নিশ্চিত হবেন যে মাথা রাখার হেড রেস্টট্রিয়েন্ট সঠিকভাবে সেট করা আছে?
Answer: The head restraint should be at least as high as the eye or top of the ears and close to the back of the head.
উত্তর: হেড রেস্ট্রিয়েন্ট এমনভাবে থাকবে যাতে এটি চোখ বা কানের সমান উচ্চতায় থাকে এবং মাথার পেছনে আরামদায়কভাবে লাগে।
✅ Q: Tell me how you’d check the tyres to ensure they have sufficient tread depth and that their general condition is safe.
Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে জানবেন টায়ারের ট্রেড গভীরতা যথেষ্ট এবং এগুলো নিরাপদ?
Answer: Tyres must have a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tyre and the entire outer edge. No cuts or bulges.
উত্তর: টায়ারের মাঝ বরাবর তিন-চতুর্থাংশে এবং চারপাশে কমপক্ষে ১.৬ মিমি ট্রেড থাকতে হবে। কাটা বা ফোলা থাকা চলবে না।

Answer: Turn the lights on, and walk around the vehicle to check.
উত্তর: সুইচ অন করে গাড়ির চারপাশে ঘুরে দেখুন সব আলো জ্বলছে কি না।(এই ক্ষেত্রে নেমে গিয়ে দেখানো লাগবে না)

Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে বুঝবেন ABS সিস্টেমে সমস্যা হয়েছে?
Answer: A warning light will illuminate on the dashboard if there’s a fault.
উত্তর: যদি সমস্যা থাকে, ড্যাশবোর্ডে সতর্কতামূলক আলো জ্বলে উঠবে।

Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে জানবেন ইন্ডিকেটর সঠিকভাবে কাজ করছে?
Answer: Turn on the indicators or hazard lights and walk around the car to see if they’re flashing.
উত্তর: ইন্ডিকেটর বা হ্যাজার্ড লাইট অন করে গাড়ির চারপাশে দেখে নিতে হবে সবগুলো ঠিকমতো জ্বলছে কি না।

Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে দেখবেন ব্রেক লাইট কাজ করছে?
Answer: Press the brake pedal and ask someone to check, or use reflections in windows or mirrors.
উত্তর: ব্রেক প্যাডেল চেপে কাউকে বলবেন পেছনে দেখে আসতে, অথবা আয়নায় প্রতিফলন দেখে নিজে চেক করবেন।
✅ Q: Tell me how you’d check the power-assisted steering is working before starting a journey.
Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে যাচাই করবেন পাওয়ার স্টিয়ারিং কাজ করছে?
Answer: Gently turn the wheel after starting the engine. It should feel light, not heavy.
উত্তর: ইঞ্জিন চালু করে স্টিয়ারিং একটু ঘুরিয়ে দেখবেন হালকা লাগে কি না। ভারী লাগলে সমস্যা থাকতে পারে।
✅ Q: Tell me how you’d switch on the rear fog lights and explain when to use them.
Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে রিয়ার ফগ লাইট চালাবেন এবং কখন ব্যবহার করবেন?
Answer: Turn the fog light switch on (after turning on dipped headlights). Use them when visibility drops below 100 metres.
উত্তর: ডিপড হেডলাইট অন করার পর ফগ লাইট চালু করবেন। যখন দৃশ্যমানতা ১০০ মিটার বা কম হয়, তখন ফগ লাইট ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
✅ Q: Tell me how you switch your headlight from dipped to main beam and explain how you’d know it’s on.
Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে হেডলাইট ডিপড থেকে মেইন বিম করবেন এবং বুঝবেন এটি অন আছে?
Answer: Push/pull the stalk to turn on the main beam. A blue warning light will show on the dashboard.
উত্তর: সুইচ টেনে বা ঠেলে মেইন বিম অন করতে হবে। ড্যাশবোর্ডে নীল আলো জ্বলবে।
✅ Q: Tell me how you’d check that the engine has sufficient oil.
Q (বাংলা): বনেট খুলে বলুন কীভাবে বোঝা যাবে ইঞ্জিনে যথেষ্ট তেল আছে।
Answer: I’d open the bonnet, pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, insert it again, then check the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks.”
উত্তর: আমি বনেট খুলব, ডিপস্টিকটি বের করব, পরিষ্কার করে মুছে আবার ঢুকিয়ে তুলব, তারপর দেখব তেলের স্তর মিনিমাম ও ম্যাক্সিমামের মাঝখানে আছে কি না।

Q (বাংলা): বনেট খুলে বলুন কীভাবে জানবেন কুল্যান্ট যথেষ্ট আছে কি না। ( Tell Me সেকশনে যদি এরকম সরাসরি বনেট খুলে দেখাতে বলে তাহলে দেখাতে পারেন। কিভাবে গাড়ির বনেট খুলতে হয়, কিভাবে চেক করতে হয় এগুলা আপনার ইন্সট্রাকটর লেসনের শেষের দিকে দেখাবে)
Answer: Check the coolant reservoir level is between minimum and maximum markings.
উত্তর: কুল্যান্ট ট্যাঙ্কে মিনিমাম ও ম্যাক্স মার্কের মাঝে লেভেল থাকলে যথেষ্ট আছে।
✅ Q: Open the bonnet and tell me how you’d check that you have a safe level of hydraulic brake fluid.
Q (বাংলা): কীভাবে দেখবেন ব্রেক ফ্লুইড নিরাপদ মাত্রায় আছে?
Answer: Check the brake fluid level is between the min and max marks on the reservoir.
উত্তর: রিজার্ভারে মিনিমাম ও ম্যাক্স মার্কের মাঝে থাকলে ব্রেক ফ্লুইড নিরাপদ মাত্রায় আছে।
