ā€‹Honestly, the golden morning light, empty streets around Westminster, and quiet views of Big Ben and the London Eye made us forget we were even on a hospital run. āœØ
ā€‹Plus, hospital blew us awayā€”Xbox and a food menu bigger than half the cafes in town, and a free hot drink for parents right on the River Thames. ā˜•
Usually, this hospital is packed with friendly Filipino nurses and staff šŸ‡µšŸ‡­, but our ward had no kabayans today!

We survived Polandā€™s mini-Saharaā€¦ and then paid for the VIP escape šŸ˜…šŸœļø
Whoever said Poland doesnā€™t have a desert clearly hasnā€™t climbed Wydma Łącka! šŸ‡µšŸ‡± Sahara vibes, powdery white sand that felt straight out of the Philippines, and legs that were completely on strike by the top.
ā€‹The kids had the time of their lives rolling all the way down the dunes, while we questioned every life choice that brought us up in the heat. When it was time to leave? We shamelessly took the fancy electric caddy cart back. Zero regrets, worth every single penny to save our time and feet! šŸ˜‚āœØ

Kas to bÅ«tu domājis, ka Polijā, pie Baltijas jÅ«ras var noÄ·ert Sahāras izjÅ«tas, baltas smiltis kā FilipÄ«nās un temperatÅ«ra arÄ« daudz neatpalika no siltākām zemēm. Skaista vieta, noteikti vērts Å”eit iegriezties reizi dzÄ«vē. MilzÄ«ga, ļoti augsta, balta kāpa, kuru ieskauj jÅ«ra un ezers no otras puses.

Turns out a bumper covered in bugs is actually a sign of healthy nature! Latvia and mainland Europe still have the thriving insect life and wild forests, while back in the UK our windscreens stay empty. Bit sad for biodiversity, but great for my husbandā€™s baby wipe habit. šŸ˜‚šŸŒ²šŸš—

Did you know that Mini Melt ice cream is also available in the Philippines?
Is it a mad science lab or an ice cream factory? šŸ§ŖšŸ’Ø We came back to RÅ«jienas saldējums 5 years later for the exact same tour. We were totally zoning out until the giant smoke cloud took over the room! šŸ¤Æ And yes, this is the only clip you get because the second the all-you-can-eat tasting started, camera duties were officially cancelled for aggressive spoon action. Zero regrets. šŸ¦šŸ˜‹šŸ‡±šŸ‡»
