We’re so excited to share with you ’s latest single - Evenness of Time.

Enchanted as a young teenager by the idea in Philip Pullman’s book the Subtle Knife, that there are places where the air is thinner between the universes. There might be a sudden shift in light and the seam will be revealed and with the help of the Subtle Knife you’d be transported to a land familiar and yet unfamiliar, so that it didn’t sit within any binary in your mind.

A liminal space.

This piece is based around an improvisation. Saoirse recorded it on her partner Sam’s lovely piano, and although she was surrounded by beautiful vintage microphones in velvet cases she just recorded it on her I-phone. Impatient, maybe, but the feeling of something flowing through her meant she had to seize the moment. As a result it is full of creaks.

And in embracing the creaks something beautiful and mesmeric appears. Embracing the creacks and trying to find cracks in things that feel impossible. Trying to stay hopeful in this s**t show for humanity we are currently witnessing!

We’re excited to announce our next  Lima Limo Presents will be a quarterly residency in Brighton at the lovely .

The series is called ‘The Seasonal Spring’ and will feature performances from and the ever widening family and friends of Lima Limo.

In this first summer edition on July 17th there will be performances from songwriters , spellbinding Indian devotional singer , as well as closing the evening with a solo set of new and old material.

As well as being a supportive space for developing and sharing new music, we hope the events can make a small contribution by providing a structure for cultivating community, connection to nature, and solidarity at this increasingly dangerous moment in the world.

We’ve worked on so many records together, and it was a dream to have him oversee the creation of our first website, along with his colleagues and .eros.giorgetta

They did an absolutely beautiful job and it’s so inspiring to have a space where we can archive the music and events of this community 🌱
