The battle scar. (Pic 2 trigger warning🩸 )
Benkum in twi means left. And as you know, I’m Benkumhemaa from the Benkumhene Royal Family of Kona, Asante Region.
I recently shared at the lowest of my days, pic 2 was the day I moved into a homeless shelter last year. The day I moved in whilst arranging things in the kitchen out of nowhere, I wacked my left brow on the kitchen cabinet door. I have never felt pain like that in my life.

Immediately the spirit of God told me I am the left wing queen… and as a result, this was my battle scar.
Reminding me I am a warrior Queen and I am going to get through this season.

Yesterday I attended the Celebration of Life of a dear friend and brother from the Ga Community in London. On behalf of Nananom Progressive UK and Asanteman, I attended to support the mourning family and friends. I am always happy to see when our community gather together for difficult times and beyond. God bless the Ga Community and Ghanaians worldwide.
