I live with a stoma bag, and wearing white has always been daunting as you never know if your bag may leak.

I didn’t want to spend my wedding day worrying about whether the dress was putting pressure on it or needing to undress every time I needed the toilet.

So instead, I became determined to find a solution rather than accepting I would have to compromise on my vision of wearing a gorgeous gown.

I began thinking about how a wedding dress could be adapted and worked alongside to create a discreet pocket within my dress that allowed me to access my stoma bag while still keeping the overall design of the dress as I wanted it. 🥹

Also a massive shoutout to for creating me a gorgeous blue stoma bag cover as my something blue. 🌸

I finally put into practice that masters degree in digital media! 😆

One of the challenging parts for me planning our wedding was definitely the stationary.

I had a clear vision in my mind of how I wanted it to look and found it hard to articulate that.

So I decided I would do it all myself….🫠

From the save the dates we first sent out to our order of services, I really wanted all of the designs to be cohesive and tell the story of our relationship.

So feel free to scroll along and see how the final products turned out from the designs which you can see in the final few slides!

Although it was stressful at times, I am so glad that I did it and now I get to keep these keepsakes of our special day forever. ❤️

This was our welcome sign displayed on an easel outside of the barn. It features a soft water colour image of the venue alongside cotswold florals that we both love. ❤️

For the seating plan i wanted something unique and so i designated each table with an animal that we had admired while in the cotswolds.

This was our guestbook that i spent many hours crafting myself using different textured card, lace and ribbon.
I then finished the design by printing a watercolour image of us that i had designed on canva to be placed on the front cover.

Obsessed with how our menus came out, this was such a simple design done on canva but printed out on watercolour paper and put with a bow was just chef’s kiss.💋

I highly recommend printing and framing your welcome sign to keep! Because this will now look so fabulous in our lounge. 😍

Our original save the dates sat alongside a floral arrangement i made using terracotta pots from our local charity shop.
My bridesmaids also loved the Ch*****ne glasses prepared with a personalised bow that i ordered from Etsy UK

In each of my bridesmaids rooms the night before the wedding I put out these personalised photos I made. I really do think the personal touches are the ones people at weddings always value the most. ❤️

Twas the week before the wedding, and all through the house, the ADHD bride was awake stirring, preparing to be a spouse.
The boxes of returns were packed by the door with care, in hopes that DPD would soon be there.
The groom was nestled snug in his bed, as visions of wh***ey and ci**rs danced in his head.
She hoped nobody would turn their speech into a rap.
If only she could turn off her brain and go for a nap.
When out in the hall there arose such a clatter, she sprang up from her doom scroll to see what was the matter.
When what to her wondering eyes did appear,
But the groom standing in his pyjamas with fear.
More rapid than eagles his footsteps came,
And he shouted, and whistled and called her by name
“Now, Holly, someone asked what time is the wedding? Remind me again?”
To which she responded: “Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!”

Only one week till we get married!!!!! And I definitely need to get more stoma bags because I decided to forget to put them in my order 😭
