Rebecca Lucy Taylor () will lead the new revival of David Hare’s Teeth & Smiles () at the Duke of York’s Theatre this spring.
Teeth ‘n’ Smiles is playing at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London for 12 weeks only from March to June 2026 and will include new additional music and lyrics by Rebecca Lucy Taylor.
Tickets will go on sale in October 2025.
Rebecca Lucy Taylor is making her West End play debut in the show, following her West End musical debut in Cabaret in London.
Teeth ‘n’ Smiles is centred on Maggie Frisby, once the roaring voice of 60s counterculture, now broke and disillusioned – a band’s youthful dreams of anarchic rebellion have collapsed into bitterness. Amidst the wreckage, lead singer Maggie tears through the night fuelled by booze, fury, and a voice that refuses to die.
Rebecca Lucy Taylor is one of the UK’s most exciting music and acting stars of the past decade, emerging from cult favourite status to mainstream hero following the huge success of her empowering, truth-telling 2021 single ‘I Do This All The Time’. She recently performed a stage show at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London centred on her new album, A Complicated Woman.
