Batons at the ready... ⬅️⬆️➡️ ⬅️⬆️➡️

Nintendo has revealed that the new remake of the N64 classic 'The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time', will feature a new symphonic recording of its iconic score.

Originally composed by Koji Kondo using synthesizers and samplers, the music was compressed to fit on the game’s N64 cartridge. Now, to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary, the Switch 2 remake gives the score a full orchestral treatment, alongside updated graphics and gameplay.

When the original game was released in 1998, the melodies players performed on the ocarina became so popular that ocarina sales reportedly skyrocketed, as fans rushed to recreate the music for themselves.

One of Britain’s best-loved hymns. 🙌

St Martin’s Voices performs ‘Love Divine, All Loves Excelling’, under the direction of Andrew Earis, in the beautiful chapel of Lambeth Palace.

With words by Charles Wesley expressing love and longing for salvation through Jesus Christ, the hymn is sung to the Welsh tune ‘Blaenwern’, composed by William Penfro Rowlands. It has become a firm favourite in churches and chapels across Wales and beyond, particularly at weddings.
