TO ALL MOTHERS
A woman we call “Mother”…
A love we spend a lifetime learning to understand.
Some mothers still walk beside us…
Some have returned to where we will all one day go…
Yet every mother leaves something of herself behind.
In the words she once spoke…
In the strength she carried…
In the sacrifices no one saw…
And in the lives she quietly built around us.
There are things we never said…
Words that remained silent between us…
Moments we thought we would always have time for.
But a mother’s love does not disappear…
It lives within the hearts she raised,
Within the kindness she taught,
And within every generation that follows.
Maybe heaven is not far away…
Maybe a piece of it lives
Within the love of a mother…
Within the warmth of her hands…
And within the prayers she whispered for her children.
To the mothers who are still with us:
May they be loved, protected and appreciated
While we still have the blessing of their presence.
To the mothers who have departed:
May they rest in eternal peace…
May their journey be gentle…
And may we meet them again,
In a place where there are no goodbyes.
İnnâ lillâhi ve innâ ileyhi râciûn.
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
For every mother…
For every sacrifice…
For every love that asked for nothing in return…
You may leave this world,
But the love you planted within us
Will continue to bloom.
