For Viscera 139 - brings us "a bit of Melbourne with a bit of the UK"

Music has always been a huge passion for Dawn Again. Whether it be djing, record collecting and production it has always been in his life since 14.

Born & bred in Melbourne, DA’s spent time living in New York, and traveled through Europe & Asia. DA has always focused heavily on production and proudly sports a slew of records on his own label Enjoyment Division, Hell Yeah Recordings, Love Above Records, Houseworx, Rothmans, Tusk Wax, Blind Jacks Journey, Ombra, Wonder Stories, Roam Recordings, El Diablo Social Club. In addition of multiple digital releases on Hell Yeah Recording, Daisy Records and more.

In 2020, Dawn Again started his own record label, Enjoyment Division, which he has released various records, in both vinyl & digital format. In 2024 DA released his debut album, “Every Dog’s Hotel” on the Italian balearic label, Hell Yeah Recordings.

DA’s djing ranges from downtempo, to house, to techno. In the last couple of years DA’s released mixes on various influential mix series such as: Melbourne Deepcast, For Home Use Only, Rotations, Dug Up The Bongo, Music for Ears & more.

A trio of hypnotic, shapeshifting grooves from that blur the lines between party and paranormal. Unpredictable yet always danceable, with on remix duties.

As the third release in our VTD series, Push Comes To Shove follows along with darker tones tailored towards the late night. Like last time we’ve also included a super limited run of dub plates available exclusively via our Bandcamp, so don’t sleep on those!

Hybrid electronics, 2step leaning minimal and astral wigglers intersect under Mist & longstanding involvement in the scene with precise and technical dexterity behind the decks. Liquefying 30+ years of dance music into timeless voyages make evident the decade of immersion in clubbing as a music nerd and mainstay DJ under previous monikers. With bookings at a collection of UK and EU clubs, festivals such as Love International, Magnetic Fields and Gottwood, and a deep archive of appearances on Rinse FM, Ransom Note, HOR Radio, Sub Club++

Founded in 2021, Lapse Records serves as an extension of Mist’s moods and grooves, using the label to platform artists exploring vital iterations of their sound. “While the Philippines’ professional world knows him as Atty. Jeric Lim, Manila’s local nightlife and music scene has known him longer as Limsum. Since starting out as a DJ in 2015, he has commandeered the decks of some of the city’s best clubs and parties to deliver electric sets that avid partygoers won’t forget. In his goal to unite generations on the dance floor, he sticks to his unique digs of progressive house, ‘90s techno, house, italo disco, and balearic to pump boundless energy into the dance floor. His signature style is a testament to his drive to expand musical horizons whenever he’s behind the decks. He’s played renowned venues and festivals across Asia including Organik Festival, Mihn, Savage, The Observatory, and Unmute, and is just as committed to building the scene at home.
