The Bounty Hunter
Hi and welcome to The Bounty Hunter- Book 2 Blog
All my posts in this category of my blog on my website are very much set up as a conversation.
On my new website all my blogs are recorded in a journal, so there is an opportunity for members to also subscribe and comment.
There is also an opportunity to begin investing in, and following, the storyline I’m writing over three books by ordering the first published book, either in paperback or ebook formats on my Shop page. I have to say here, opening this conversation now on this second book, I don’t want to set up a round of spoilers for you.
For those of you coming new to my blog, you can now open up my new website: gjmann.org to catch up on the basic themes of ‘The Corleone Christ’, as a Political Crime Thriller, trilogy. If you know you like Crime Thrillers or Political Crime Thrillers, you’re 90% home and dry. The plan for me is to pull together the second and the third book.
In the narrative of the first book, ‘The Corleone Christ’, is set up as a fast moving FBI investigation between the USA locations of Washington DC, Oklahoma, the Great Smoky Mountains and West Virginia. It ends with characters who do not survive; but there is one key criminal character who escapes the USA. This key character and an international network of criminals illegally mining and drilling for carbon, remain at large.
This first book closes with unresolved loose ends with other characters who survive, leaving a door ajar for a new investigation for the, ‘The Bounty Hunter’ to bring them to justice
So, here is the teaser for you and my Facebook Community Groups Members today.
Parts of the plot for this international criminal network I have been inspired to locate this fictional work, ‘The Bounty Hunter’ in a part of the U.K. called the Cotswolds, Africa and South Sudan where settled villages have been destroyed in a military operation and large numbers of peoples either killed or displaced.
I want to hear any stories or references you are aware of where oil, gas or forestry industries or governments have deployed ‘colonial’ force to overcome indigenous land owners, kicking people off the lands they have owned for thousands of years. Please use the Comments Page on my website to reply.
The one very famous USA story I know about was written about in a book Ref: ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ / David Grann. This book was made into a film.
While I am working on researching this story located in the U.K. / Africa and the English Channel I would love to hear any stories that sound like the one I’m reading.
Take good care
