Started with the kids’ scares… ended wondering who let us make adult decisions. 🎃💀

A little spooky fun, a bit of confidence… and suddenly we’re heading into Alton Towers’ more serious scare mazes in the dark. 😂

There’s something about hearing screams ahead of you that makes you reconsider every decision that brought you there.

Are you leading the way, hiding behind someone, or holding everyone’s bags outside? 👀👇

My budget says a day out in the Cotswolds. My imagination has already appointed a groundskeeper. 🌿

One sweeping country-house façade, climbing greenery and a terrace full of possibilities—and suddenly I’m mentally hosting a garden party nobody has been invited to.

Please tell me I’m not the only person who visits somewhere beautiful and immediately starts an entirely fictional life there.

Save this for your Cotswolds wish list, and follow Alchemy Souls Travel for beautiful places and unexpected discoveries.

Spa: 10/10. Music: brilliant. Crowds: a little too much for me. 🌅🎶

We tried Sunset Sessions at Hoar Cross Hall the other night, and there was so much to love — the spa, the evening atmosphere and that gorgeous terrace after dark.

But with everyone packed into the new roof terrace pools, I found it quite overwhelming. I can enjoy the music and still need a bit more space around me.

Would I go again? Yes. Although next time I may stick to the spa and choose a quieter occasion to enjoy the terrace. That feels more like my kind of reset. 🤍

Would you choose the music and atmosphere, or a quieter spa escape?

Save this for your Hoar Cross Hall plans, and follow Alchemy Souls Travel for beautiful experiences with an honest take on how they feel.

I thought I was going to an art class. I came away feeling like I’d given myself permission to slow down. 🎨✨

At Moddershall Oaks, Love Light & Lemonade brought together art, Reiki and an angel card reading in one lovely retreat. I especially appreciated being able to create without worrying whether the finished piece was “good enough”.

A little space to make something, reflect and simply be. 🤍

Have you ever booked something for the activity and found that the pause was what you needed most?

This is what happens when two sold-out Wembley concerts finish at almost exactly the same time… 😳

Inside the OVO Arena, 12,500 people were reliving the noughties at Mis-Teeq’s incredible 25-year reunion.

Next door, around 90,000 Diljit Dosanjh fans were filling Wembley Stadium.

Then both crowds came out together.

More than 100,000 people trying to leave Wembley at once—and one very overwhelmed nervous system attempting to process it all. 😂

The atmosphere inside was pure nostalgia and the crowd outside was surprisingly well behaved, but sensory-friendly it absolutely was not.

Still, hearing thousands of people singing those Mis-Teeq songs 25 years later made it completely worth it. ❤️

Which Mis-Teeq song would have you singing every word—Scandalous, All I Want or One Night Stand? 👇

Follow for honest, sensory-aware adventures beyond the polished highlights. 🤍

Would you cross a lake for an escape like this? 🚤🌿

At Alderford Lake, the adventure began before we had even reached the island.

That short journey across the water created a real sense of leaving everyday life behind—and once we arrived, it felt peaceful, private and completely removed from the usual rush.

For the children, crossing the lake was part of the adventure. For us, it was the moment the reset really began.

Would you love an island escape, or would the journey across put you off? 👇

Save this for a different kind of family break ✨
